Hi Reader, Happy daylight savings day! Falling back means we get a whole extra hour today, and I'm using it to relax. But it's kind of the unofficial start to the year's slower period. As the year starts to wind down, the holidays have a way of speeding everything up. Before we know it, our calendars are full, our minds are racing, and the simple moments we crave get buried under to-do lists. This month, I’m leaning into a softer approach to giving. Coming from a place of thoughtfulness, not overwhelm. It’s less about finding the perfect thing, and more about finding presence in how we give, connect, and care – like buying from local/small, creating something, spending time, doing something for someone. Yoga teaches us aparigraha (non-grasping), the art of giving and receiving without attachment or expectation. When we give from that place, our actions become more intentional, our hearts lighter, and our energy steadier.
